Dwain has been dancing since the age of 6 and since then his passion for Street Dance has seen him teach and perform all over the world. A founding member of world renound Street Dance group Peridot, Dwain has had the opportunity to perform with his crew at events, video shoots and television appearances since its inception in 2005, along with appearing at and triumphing in various competitions.

Peridot are the current UK Hip Hop Dance Champions, a title which they intend to defend for a third consecutive year in 2010. Their success last year saw them returning again to Las Vegas where they represented the UK at the World Hip Hop Championships.

Most recently they have featured on the live semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent and the live shows of BBC Three’s ‘Move Like Michael Jackson’, where they performed in front of Michael’s brother Jermaine alongside some of the best Street Dance acts in the country, while picking up choreography from Lavelle Smith Jnr, Michael’s lead dance choreographer for over 23 years.

In addition to this Dwain has performed at venues such as Sadlers Wells as part of their Breakin’ Convention and at the O2 Arena where the group performed a set for rap artist Kano. Peridot are also sponsored by Adidas through which Dwain has taken part in various advertising campaigns.

Dwain has a passion for communicating this experience to the young people he teaches. He has taught both children and adult classes in schools and youth communities across the country and was recently flown over to Ireland to run a series of teaching workshops there.
