“Goodfoot combine dance and humour to give you an intoxicating blend of entertainment that's guaranteed to leave you saying WOOOOO!”
The group was formed by Arthur “Uncle A” Sempebwa and Shakeel “Shak” Meetooa when they were at college. In 2005 they met professional boxing trainer Charles Onyeneke, where he gave them the name Goodfoot. Their second home is at Charles’ MyGym in Finchley, London where they met their third member, Marko “Logic” Rodic. Ever since, the boys have been teaching and performing around the country, spreading their obsession with dance to as many people as possible.
Goodfoot has made it to the top 10 in Sadler’s Wells' Global Dance competition. Hundreds of traditional and contemporary dancers from around the world entered and the self taught North Londoner’s are in the running to claim the top prize.
They’ve also recently finished working with TalkTalk to help promote ITV’s X Factor.
Group founder Arthur, 22, is intent that Goodfoot "inspire kids to take up dance". He adds: "We are not a usual street dance crew...we are about selling our personalities. We are very theatrical and use a lot of humour."
