Born and raised in North London, King’s passion for Street Dance turned from a social activity to a life-long ambition the minute he was approached to become a dance academy teacher and realised what it had to offer.
He is a self taught dancer and continually choreographs new routines, combining various components of different styles of Street Dance. His teaching experience has also seen him work at schools and colleges across the country, while on the performing side he has continued to win competitions and perform regularly at a vast range of events around the UK.
In addition to appearing on TV with his dancing in a number of commercials, King has also been seen showing his talent in BBC dramas and various other brand advertising. Most recently he shot to fame as part of his Street Dance duo, the Urban Jokers, who made it to the live shows of BBC Three’s ‘Move Like Michael Jackson’, where he performed in front of Michael’s brother Jermaine alongside some of the best Street Dance acts in the country, while picking up choreography from Lavelle Smith Jnr, Michael Jackson’s lead dance choreographer for over 23 years.
